Health Insurance - Provides insurance that pays a portion or all of the Hospital, Physician, and Ancillary provider fees when services are covered by the health plan. Not all health insurance is created equal. Some are designed for individuals who need full health coverage, other plans are designed to cover catastrophic events or only provide coverage after a significant deductible. Plans also exist for students or those needing short term medical coverage while between jobs or during early retirement years.

Life Insurance - Protect survivors from the high cost of funerals and helps provide the cash needed to pay off outstanding debts or cover daily living expenses for the survivors. Untimely passing of the main breadwinner in a family can have catastrophic financial consequences. Life Insurance is one part of the solution. Proper planning includes evaluation of life insurance needs and current life insurance policies to prevent such a devastating financial situation for survivors. With life insurance the survivors can continue life much as they knew it before the untimely passing; the children can continue to look forward to attending college; the surviving spouse can continue to work part time while raising the family etc... Thus it is very important to review regularly the current life insurance policies as well as needs and to adjust the life insurance to ensure adequate coverage.

Long Term Care Insurance - Medicare does not cover nursing home costs for the elderly. Medicaid may be an option, but only for those beneficiary with little income and few assets, otherwise one must spend down their wealth to very minimal asset levels before becoming eligible. That spend down cannot be in the form of gifts to friends and family and is subject to a look back period by the government. Also, Medicaid has the right to recover from remaining assets, which can include a home in which a surviving spouse may live, the costs spent caring for Medicaid beneficiaries. One of the best alternatives to leaving your family with no inheritance and possibly leaving your spouse impoverished, is a Long Term Care Insurance policy. Several carriers offer competitive rates for policies that can cover or significantly defray the costs of nursing home, assisted living, or even in home care. We work with many carriers thus are able to help find the best policy.
